Got a paywall so I can’t read the whole thing, but I’ll agree that Biden didn’t clarify the down payment thing when campaigning. And I think it’s good to hold him accountable so at the end of the day, not mad at it. Maybe the backlash will even make them increase it (not likely though).

I just remember them saying it would be a down payment from the start, so when I heard them saying $2000 checks I knew what they were talking about.
