There have been calls for police reform for decades and that s*** been getting ignored every step of the way.
People don't give a f*** how you present your slogan. If it's something that takes power away from police it doesn't mean a damn thing, and it'll be dead upon arrival.

n the whole respectability thing ain’t too relevant in regards to the police anyway; they were never the target of this idea. the target is the general populace, so worrying about how the slogan reflects on the police is far less significant than how it’ll reflect on the public and their perception of the police

KOL Meezy Mestizosaid it before, and I'll say it again. The last time defund was in the american political consciousness was when members of the GOP wanted to defund planned parenthood. And defund meant NO funding.
