The right is obviously going to exaggerate the conditions of migrants and use race/culture to rile up their base, but let's not be ignorant of the root issue here.

When Trump says migrants are taking "black jobs" (in reality typical American jobs in general), he means corporations are partnering with refugee/asylum programs to prioritize hiring migrants as opposed to Americans.

These corporations want cheap and obedient labor. They want desperate workers who won't complain about safety regulations or horrible work conditions. They want obedient slaves who won't try to unionize.

The root of the issue is that this country isn't prioritizing helping American citizens at all. It sucks that race/culture/replacement theory nonsense gets thrown into this issue when in reality it's just capitalism and corporatism working as intended.
