is conan in this one too?
Like....I guess literally no one has put it together or been talking about it at all but he's the Bridges guy talking to Neil that was in the Pre-Order trailer a while back
Gotta play the first one to get into this one?
no, but if you end up liking this one, the original's really not that different
Can you not do side stuff/100% everything after completing the game like you could in the firsts?
You can but it doesn’t have the same vibe (for me). I want to play slower this time and explore fully before even getting near the end.
Although maybe I should try exploring my endgame save to see if there’s any unique interactions with characters in the endgame. Probably not but there is a lot of Easter eggs in this game so I wouldn’t be shocked.

wait for 4090 PC or get on regular PS5 thoughts?

Death stranding came to pc like 7 or 8 months after ps4 so it probably won’t be long at all. I’d wait if you truly want that peak experience.
However, it’s the best looking game on the ps5, so you’ll be happy either way.
The snowy mountaintops have some gorgeous views but gollyyy they are so big and steep. Got me sweating in real life
No, it was not a mistake. It was not a mistake
performance of the year for Luca

So steep and deep
That On The Beach song sounds like it was ripped straight out of Ghost In The Shell
Would it be uncouth to skip the first game and jump into this
only gotten to play a few hours so far been too busy but man.. this leaves a much better first impression than the first one can't wait to hop back in
I've been taking my time squeezing everything out of this. I had completed every available standard order, aid request and sub-order in both Mexico and Australia up until episode 9 which is where I'm currently at. Also rebuilt a lot of roads and monorails. So far I have like 115 hours of playtime which is nuts.

don’t feel too bad, it might be a bit confusing though. Lol

I’m probably going to just play the first game before I purchase the second. But wanted to check
Who is responsible for all the armor, weapon, tool designs, general aesthetics in this game? Is it Yoji Shinkawa? Whoever’s responsible is brilliant
il'l worry about the completionist s*** later i gotta progress this story

The story, the world and the specific terminology used in the game is pretty complicated so I would personally recommend playing the first game first if you don't want to be too confused and overwhelmed by everything.
There is, however, a recap video in the sequels in-game menu that can get you up to speed a bit on what happened in the first game but I haven't checked it out since I already know what it was about. Perhaps that recap is good enough if you're desperate to play the second game, but if you're not in a rush then I would recommend starting with the first one to get a better grasp of the world and what's going on.

That would be me. Thank you sir.
Jk.

Honestly the corpus does a great job of catching you up to the terminology and lore of the world

I don’t think it’s any one person but the overall artstyle and aesthetic is based on yoji’s work, man is the GOAT
