Don’t really understand the combat complaints because Sam isn’t Snake, he’s a delivery boy, unironically.
Makes complete sense why combat would naturally be more awkward and stiff compared to the snappiness of something like MGSV where you’re playing as someone who’s supposed to be the greatest solider on Earth.
We KNOW Kojima can deliver best in the genre combat, that’s clearly not his intent here.

The number of people I’ve seen complain about the fact that this still primarily a delivery game is WILD.
Constantly f***ing whining about homogeneous AAA titles, but whenever something comes along that wants to do something different some of the same people can’t wait to complain about it.
Probably why Kojima felt the need to preference this over and over again.

I fully agree with you. I wasn’t necessarily complaining about the combat, just saying I don’t care about combat in DS whether it’s good or not

Think it was more that if you're gonna have shooting at enemies and what not in our postal delivery game then it could've used some improvements. Which it did receive
