what joke? its pretty clear that youre hurt because you cant play this game
OK so whats your favorite aspect of the gameplay in DS? Cause so far i'm not joking when building bridges is the best counterpoint to the gameplay being mediocre.
If that's what you took out of it then you either didn't play much or you're just fixiated on something completely optional and not too significant. The game isn't too difficult to learn. I've played for 40 hours or so and have only fell 3 times. The whole point of the game was to experience a journey of a character who is tasked with connecting people and helping others by also helping yourself. If you missed that, then you weren't paying attention.

You didn't answer my question.
What is your favorite aspect of the gameplay?
Don't excuse the gameplay talking about what the 'experience' is suppose to be about.
Talk to me about your favorite aspect of the gameplay since no one else who is vehemently defending this game from my opinion has done so

I did. You're just too oblivious to it I guess.
It's okay to like the game as a whole when you're actually good at it.

dude lmfao literally none of your post I quoted talks about any aspect of the gameplay.
Thanks for making my point when I ask a simple question and your best answer is talking about the "experience" of the game

Why do I have to be fixiated on one aspect of gameplay when I can just enjoy the entire game. It not like I can answer that question for any game. It's like expecting an answer like, "Yeah my favorite part was not stepping on that rock outside of the distribution center."

You definitely can answer that for any game.
Ask me my favorite aspect of the gameplay of any game and I can answer it.
You know why you can't do the same for DS? Cause there is no depth whatsoever to the gameplay. Go from point A to point B, many times by walking, build bridges, crouch when you see the monsters. I am literally summing up the gameplay.
Let alone, playing the game aka gameplay is how you experience the game. Which makes it pretty valid.

Give me one example of a gameplay aspect you like in any game. Just pick one.

OK since you're going to act like its hard to answer your favorite aspect of gameplay....
Tell me about the depth of the gameplay. Some are hating on MGS5 which is laughable when the creativity to how you can approach missions is staggering.
Whats the depth in DS' gameplay? Whether I force a truck over a hill or whether I leave the truck and walk the rest of the way?

Eh I guess. My favorite aspects of the game are the upgrades you get by doing side missions, stealing from MULES, building highways / roads, the shootout segments with Cliff#, the encounters with Higgs, and certain BT encounters near the end of the story that I won’t spoil, !#the segment where you have to get rid of a bomb at the end of Chapter 3 before it explodes and kills a whole city, etc.

you got the same options in death stranding but you dont know because you didnt play it

Not saying you were part of this, but legitimately confused at anyone who likes infiltrating MULE camps but was hating on MGS5 in here.
Infiltrating the MULE camps are literally a much much much worse version of the main aspects of MGS5
homie been in this thread discussing a game he dislikes because his favourite youtuber didnt like it for an hour now
Just beat the game probably the best ending to a game or nearly any story period. Completely mind blowing in every sense of the word and deeply deeply sad. They gave us a win with Lou being alive but nothing will be sadder than seeing mads story play out in the final cutscene

I don’t hate MGS5 tbh.

The Mads twist caught me off guard.

Thats a way to simplify it, but there was always many many ways you could use stealth, and the map variance on those missions was great. You could literally go on a hill, scout the site, and get to use your brain contemplating all the ways to infiltrate but which will be best for the S.
How do you get the S in DS? By figuring out the path from A to B where your cargo won't get rained on or dropped.
Big falloff.
mgs 5 gameplay is the only rhing it had and it was a very generic third person shooter so its hard to f*** that up
boring story, unfinished game, bland open world, repetetive as f***, only two different biomes etc
cant believe you guys take this guy seriously
