That was the issue, it wasn't like they were a threat and were a challenge to fight, like it was just simple same old same old

well I mean it isn’t like that at first, there’s a clear progression throughout the game. For hours you can only sneak by them, then eventually you have a weak weapon, the piss and then the blood grenade which isn’t a sure bet you won’t die because they can still capture you and you can miss, fall, etc. and by 30 hours in you have a quad rocket launcher and s*** lmao. I thought it was well paced but I guess that’s subjective too

Maxing out your connections with all of the facilities (atleast 4 stars) makes the memory chip hunt a lot easier for you

Might get back into it but my ziplines probably rusted as f*** ugh

Gameplay aside how’s the story?

i feel like this should have ended a little sooner. the twist at the end was incredibly obvious from the start and im usually a dumbo about these things. the first ending was just incredibly emotional. i cried like a b****.

still an amazing experience

if youre into kojimas storytelling you will like it. its more melodramatic than mgs but also slightly more mature. i think the characters are more interesting than the story itself though

You're saying this because you want to also dive in to your other game but if you put that aside for a second Kojima is really giving you max value for your money by keeping the story as long as it is.

I actually like that tedious grind of the 1st quarter because you truly then appreciate the vehicles, roads, zip lines and etc once available.

For me I subconsciously started playing in a way that could also help other players and I think Kojima pulled off the online integration really well.

The amount times I've driven out there with a truckload of s*** and no PCC with little to no juice left and I see a generator I f***ing smash those likes lol

Yeah you hit the nail on the head, the difficulty in the beginning is an attempt to create a huge character arc in which you go from pathetic post office servant to badass ghost killing Fed ex-pert (yes that was a pun). It wouldn’t be as rewarding without that initial struggle, and the online portion wouldn’t have meant as much.
