I always thought it was strictly for gamers and that made me wonder why they don’t just use the voice chat in game lol
Discord was strictly for gamers until it got popular and people from Skype etc. switched to Discord lmao

Well it sounds like it’s a bit harder to determine who is interacting with who, there’s no way to view someone’s following/followers and none of their interactions are publicly visible the way comments and likes are

Nah lmfao, the server all this foolishness went down was his own server. A lot of artist have their own servers to talk to fans discord is legitimately used by a lot of people lmao but like anything on the internet theres gonna be a seedy darkside

there are weirdos on there for sure but it comes down to another form of communication for online people. the community aspect makes it easier to trust people which makes it worse if you're in the wrong crowd

It was initially for strictly gaming but it blossomed into an app where you can make a server based on any interest that people can join
It’s cool for smaller servers with a couple of people you know but the larger servers/communities are absolutely terrible. Always a cesspool no matter what it is
