yeah that’s not what you said lol
I was more concerned with the whole "song got a bump from murder" thing. I apologize to my Billboard heads!

good. lock him away and melt the key.
wtf is a public defender
When the court assigns you a lawyer because you don't have one
In other words, you're cooked
wtf is a public defender
In the states one is guaranteed a lawyer no matter what, if you can’t afford private council then the court assigns you a lawyer. They have a reputation for being s***ty lawyers but alot of the time it’s just that they have such a heavy caseload that they can’t give their clients the attention their case needs. Don’t have a public defender for a murder case, if you got tickets or something sure why not.

so he's cooked.
Public defender and prosecution thinking about going for death penalty
yeah its a wrap

People did a lot of complaining about how long the case took but it might of turned out to be a good thing. He was cooked either way but running out of money mid trial seems more appropriate
How’d he run out of money?
Blair Berk ain't cheap
plus he got a family that depended on him
even if his accounts aren't at zero, I'm sure a big portion of his net worth is tied up in real estate that the family don't want to let go of to fight a case he's clearly not gonna walk on
plus, even if they were willing to quick-sell at a loss, it takes time
How’d he run out of money?
before his arrest he put everything under him mom in a trust
Public defender and prosecution thinking about going for death penalty
yeah its a wrap
Score one for the good guys
F*** TDE and Rocnation
Quick correction to some of the stuff flying around today:
Burke pleaded not guilty. His private lawyers withdrew, and the L.A. County Public Defender’s Office took over after finding him financially eligible.
What still has not been publicly established is exactly why he changed counsel, where his money went, or whether the lawyers left because of the evidence.
Also, Oct. 19 is a status conference, not the trial. No trial date has been set.
I’m with ClearPiece. We organized today’s confirmed update plus the five-day preliminary-hearing context here:
