I picture this story first in a literary sense and in a theatrical sense secondly, but visually and musically driven all the same. In regards to aesthetics and presentation/voice: Renaissance style late 80s epic fantasy aesthetically, sweeping poetic historical romance epic in presentation and voice

Diana is a striking beauty with a rounded sweet face of bronze, full high cheeks red as roses and plump lips. Her bold, dark thick eyebrows are strongly arched over her vast set crystal blue eyes and voluminous feathery eyelashes with an intense gaze. A silky obsidian mane of large curly waves drapes down to her back and flows as its own guiding object of flight

I love that you used Joan of Arc cause I've been throwing an idea around in my head where Diana literally talks to the gods through her mind and that's why she becomes Wonder Woman but the Amazonians don't communicate with them.

Like Diana destiny is literally given to only her and beyond being a choice to help humanity she's on a divine mission to free womankind across the globe.

There's always this idea that Diana must be tough to be strong but I love the idea of her being a young woman whose kind of not right in the head simultaneously really kind while being dangerous and dedicated to her mission.

She's not childish tho but she's also not inherently aggressive I think the idea of Amazonians being tough and rude to people is dumb because those are patriarchal society traits a society made by women wouldn't have the same idea of "tough"

She'd essentially be the Milla Jovovich trope

Oddly enough Barbie played by Margot is how I envision Diana personality she's very open and polite to everyone in the real world but also knocked a nigga out the moment he touched her

  • That’s also why I prefer the clay origin. Real Krypton/Crime Alley/Uncle Ben level potential in that for a gender-fitting resonant message. The Zeus origin just makes her into some surface level hero dude
