I havent watched the show but saw the clip. The scene looked heavy and then some "humor" splashed in there
I ain't mad about them roasting the JL but is the show full of weird tonal shifts like that?
Yeah it's basically action south park/family guy
Niggas got face it eventually. Its been like 5 years
Deadpool 1 was funny, Deadpool 2 was nothing but abusing the 4th wall gimmick, calling cable Thanos cuz its the same actor isn't funny, and calling a dumbass plot point lazy/bad writing doesn't not make it lazy/bad writing lmao
Loved it
Yeah I didn’t understand the ending and what Goff was saying. For a second I thought they were saying Chris was a Butterfly lmao
was honestly expecting Goff to go to blondie
I think I read the twist on Reddit weeks ago and forgot about it until this episode & it makes sense
Peacemaker & the Butterflies aren’t so different. They want THEIR world at peace no matter the means, which is why they both let each other live at the end of the day
that part I didn’t see coming lol
Why he left Goff to live?
Chris & Goff are essentially the same when it comes to morals. Peace by any means necessary. Goff was willing to take over the power figures on earth to put in motion how to make it habitual for its species & other humans so they all can live together and thrive. Chris was willing to kill anyone to make sure American doesn’t go to s\*\*\* in general, which why he was willing to turn on the other Squad members in the movie so that information doesn’t get out and cause chaos. They saw eye to eye and he let it go
That cameo was great cmon now

Calling Cable Thanos made me laugh out loud

Thank you
I just thought it's a little weird since this creature still can take possession of any human again pursuing it's goal but I guess it was needed for symbolism
Enjoyed the finale
Overall I liked the show a lot. Sometimes the writing gets a bit too James Gunn-y and the songs can be a bit overbearing. But overall Gunn's storytelling always has heart.
Looking forward to s2.
Thank you

Oh no I was in the same boat as you like it was such a dumbass choice
Why wasnt Batman there
Real life? Ben done
In show? Idk, The League doesn’t have to completely assemble 24/7
Bruh probably dealing with The Joker tryna give him a reach around or something
Pretty dope that Marvel let him shoot the flash scene with the GOTG 3 crew after Peacemaker had already wrapped
This show woulda been alot better if not dealing with Sci fi alien s***, the show took a nose dive in quality once that silly butterfly plot came in, similar to the suicide squad forcing in the stupid jelly fish at the end

Huh?

Batman woulda been just as ez to have in the shadows
It's cuz dc has no clue what they re doing as far as batman in their semi universe goes
