XANTAAll caught up. Liking the show but I hate James Gunn's sense of humor. S*** is 8th grade level. Most of the jokes are hit or miss, mostly on the miss side.
this how I feel as well...sometimes the seemingly endless banter works well (the scene where they start naming off a bunch of other ppl to frame instead of his dad for example is hilarious) but then you get the potty/juvenile humor that sometimes feels a bit too out there and awkward against other aspects of the show (mostly feel it with Vigilante)...I also really enjoy the show but yeah sometimes that s*** is distracting

Gunn is showcasing how dumb the characters are, and that’s what makes it funny imo

None of the banter style s*** works for me personally, it just reminds me of the cheesy edgy s*** in the Deadpool movies imo. I think that's why I liked Murn out of all of the characters so much tho cus he'd be serious af and just drop a quick one-liner and it would kill me, as opposed to all the other characters just going back n forth for a whole minute over something dumb like d***s or poop or farting
Regardless tho I still like the show, I just hate James Gunn's humor, s*** just feels forced and dumb to me
