I like DCU going with a sandbox approach to their universe. Its already lived in. Any story can just happened at any part, any time with any character in the same universe. Reminds me of the comics

It’s gonna be good, I just don’t think the wider casual fanbase is gonna be able to enjoy it. And I’m not sure if normal tv watchers will even check it out
The credited writers on each episode consist of showrunners and alumni from Watchmen, Leftovers, Lost, True Detective, The Penguin, Ozark, Animal Kingdom. And then on the directors team are people from Slow Horses, Last of Us, Westworld, Fallout, Game of Thrones, House of Cards.
A really illustrious and talented
television-specific think tank are behind the show. It will be really good. But I also think people are going to be really annoying about it

I'll mostly agree with this actually, I just think the show itself looks really uninspired/boring. I'm sure it'll have its redeeming qualities, but it feels like a minor addition to this universe to me, when the universe needs some more foundational stuff to be created.

I think they confirmed a lot of ring use and some stuff in space. Feel like we didn’t see much of it to say it’s bland but who knows.
