One obscure artist you should check out it Sebastien Cloutier, he's the most slept artist for me and a fantastic guitarist. His albums are interesting sonic experiences, and have been able to showcase his role as not only a guitarist, but with producing and mixing. Shame he ended his discography with only 2 albums and hasn't made music since 2011. Here are some of his songs:

I mean I fw some s***, Sometimes I’ll post some s*** for a quick laugh but s*** is getting repetitive af, Niggas stuck with same ass flow niggas like young boy or dababy, Like cmon lil niggas, You know you can do better than that, I miss soulo tbh, That nigga at least brings new things to the table, He May drop a good ass project this year, Along with other artists that I have hope, There were various flop albums this year ffs
agreed. i like some of these dudes, they can rap and have talent but they purposely make their music s***ty/generic for the masses. its not a good strategy because the real fans want something original and organic, not some bland radio music.. keep that s*** for a select few artists. also ive never heard of soulo, gonna research the name. and yep.. do you remember lil wayne dropped an album this year??
dude right? these 6ix9ine threads are legit terrible. your so right. this isnt even a music section most of the time.. its a gossip section. we dont need threads about random artists tweeting s*** like its pointless. dedicated threads would be the best.
also completely agree. nobody is dropping s***
2020 started strong bro.. now its just dry asf
I guess not being able to tour probably has labels holding back? Idk. This is why I miss that era of mixtapes, we’d be eating heavy rn. At least other genres I listen to haven’t slowed down, that’s why I’ve been listening to a lot of other stuff lately.

yo so I'm feeling these bro. is he just a solo guitarist with instrumental songs or does he play a part in other bands?
If you f***ed with those songs heavy I'd recommend listening to both of his albums (Synchronicity and Correlations), quite dope especially with good headphones. It's interesting he puts the guitar in the smack middle, front while he pushes the drums to the back.
He seems to be a solo guitarist from what I found out, tried to search about him more but didn't really have much luck.
whats your favorite lean songs?
Princess Daisy
Ghosttown
Crystal City
Ginseng Strip 2002

I'm gonna check these out and play them on my sound system tomorrow (12" inch subwoofer)
during the day to get a good experience.
This guy is really talented though, howd you find out about him?
Used to be a huge Korn fan back in the day. This is about the point I kinda grew out of them I think. Those first like four albums were pretty dope though
I see your point b, IMO they started being more experimental with this album than before, It May be that I love experimental s*** that’s why I like this album, Even though it’s one of their weakest tbh, Untouchables, Life Is peachy and Issues are their best imo, But this one is dope for me due to being a little more experimental than what they were before they released this project

I was bumping Matthew Santo's music (The dude who was Lupe's hook man) and he was part of this label called CandyRat records which is mainly for acoustic artists. I was browsing through the artists page of that label's website and yeah I ran into this guy.
Most of the artists were acoustic s*** so this guy stood out for me.

I don’t usually mind experimental stuff tbh but that dubstep album was the worst lol. But I feel you bro, that could be why I didn’t dig it as much. I was listening to a lot diff stuff when this came out.

interesting, it's crazy how many people are supporting in the creation of albums/songs. that's really cool though man. your a huge lupe fan right? (i remember you posted a lot about him)
I've never really been a fan of that genre tbh
I feel you, At first I didn’t get it, But once it clicked, I couldn’t stop listening, Although I listen to it sometimes nowadays, Not always b

lowkey this is how I get into genres / songs too, so may have to do this process too

Yeah, I think you’re referring to paradigm shift, I haven’t listened to if fully yet, I just have it on my library but haven’t touched it that much tbh, I like their projects around 2008 at most, And their last album is kinda nice too b
@Hollewood I saw that
good catch
