I remember going to clubs a lot when that was out and like they’d play 10 straight songs and they’d either be from C3 or featuring Wayne bc he was on that killer feature run. That’s a great doc too you mentioned. I watched that again a while back.

I don't think anything will ever compare to what Wayne did during that time, He was killing everything he touched and was making sure nobody was touching him on tracks tbh. Like when I listen to Nothing On Me with him, juelz and fabo.. You hear how good Fabo and Juelz are then Wayne just comes in and f***ing demolishes it.

I don't think it is possible to have another artist do what Wayne did, I know people will compare newer artists, artists whose music leaks constantly, or Drake who dominates the charts, but there is just something about what Wayne was doing back then that was magical in its own way.

That Fab verse on there is so dope too lol, but you’re right, Weezy comes on and just slays em. Such a good time then. And No kidding man everybody I knew had a copy of that album. People I’ve never even known to like rap at all had that s***.
