Bigger sales don’t always automatically equal bigger impact.
For example, 30 by Adele is the highest selling album of 2021, but I highly doubt anyone is arguing that was the most impactful and loved album of that year
I said most streamed not most sold, you can buy a CD then listen to it once then forget about it and never listen again
Higher streams actually show what people are listening to
Pablo was the most important tour of our generation
Bro shut the F*** up
NO
If you were actually outside back then like you claimed you a lil too old to be on Drake d*** like this man

The conversation was about 2011 though, and that WTT was more impactful even though Take Care sold more first week
If you were actually outside back then like you claimed you a lil too old to be on Drake d*** like this man
Bro drake literally dropped best rap album of the year, beat jay z and Kanye, and held it down so when Wayne came back it was as graceful as it was. What the f*** are YOU talking aboug
Kendrick literally preformed for the Grammys in f***ing chains only to lose to Taylor swift. Drake boycotting the Grammys and winning none >>> being a Coon for a runner up awarx
This is great cope
That’s natural tho he was coming off his first album and on a song wit Drake 2chainz and Rocky. We could pin point all of his features wit “bigger” artist than he was at that time.
Again I’m not denying Drake helped but some of these people act as if Kendrick was f***in Blocboy JB
sure looks like blocboy

Kendrick literally preformed for the Grammys in f***ing chains only to lose to Taylor swift. Drake boycotting the Grammys and winning none >>> being a Coon for a runner up awarx
Rather being remembered to be a runner up than a crybaby who was upset that he couldn’t win s*** lol
Dudes just forget the fact that Jay & Ye were still trying to lil homie Drake up until NWTS,one of the reasons he changed his image. It was different industry back in the early 10s,where sales didn't determine everything. Jay & Ye were the kings at that time cause they had the sales and the influence.
Drake changed the game in his favor, and made it about pures sales and popularity again.
And how’s that doing for the game btw? lol seems like he ruined everything
The conversation was about 2011 though, and that WTT was more impactful even though Take Care sold more first week
take care far more impactful let’s be f***ing real far more influential also
WTT was not a surprise release LMAO?????
They announced the release date a month prior
S*** had a single and everything lmfao
Rather being remembered to be a runner up than a crybaby who was upset that he couldn’t win s*** lol
Kanye did the same s***…
They don’t even remember there were people who didn’t even like the interlude lol It’s not like that s*** dropped and the next day the blogs were covering Kendrick
his verse on The City did more for him than Buried Alive Interlude LMAO
S*** had a single and everything lmfao
they probably mistaking it with the fact it didn’t leak because it released digitally
take care far more impactful let’s be f***ing real far more influential also
12 years later, absolutely.
But again, the conversation was about during that time period. WTT was definitely the more loved album that year, people grew on Take Care more and more as time passed
his verse on The City did more for him than Buried Alive Interlude LMAO
Ur f***ing delusional
Bro ask Drake himself if you get the opportunity. If it was that buzzing album then he wouldn't need to drop a surprise album not even an year after that and also joint album with 21
Oh yeah I’m sure Drake’s mega successful multi platinum album is the reason he’s been dropping so much music
Not the 500 million dollar contract he received shortly after to literally release music
Also Drake has dropped every year since he came out save for 2012

“In 2011, American rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West advertised false release dates for their collaborative album Watch the Throne, in part an effort to pre-empt leaks.“
