hah yea on first playthroughs I can imagine you just stick to whats working. I got a silver knight strght sword during Anor Londo and just upgraded that.

but this dlc weapon has such a fun moveset. littlerly feels sekiro ish. plus it actually has a few different combos. it's not your typical souls weapon.

do NOT get the master key or whatever on your first playthrough of DS1. There's a natural progression and if you just start unlocking all the doors it can really mess you.

Yeah, but ds3 quests were on a whole different level in how obscure they were. At the end of my first playthrough i missed half the npcs and finished only 1 questline while in ds1 i had met everyone and almost finished them all
