thoughts after the toronto show

danny was amazing, so much energy same set list as the boston show and danny and underscores both brought out 8485 since she's from here i was happy to hear xxx/old era songs but i do wish he did some more chill songs also since people were basically jumping around all the time and im old and washed. underscores voice was somewhat gone, i think she said she was sick. danny by the end sounded a bit hoarse so hopefully he brought some throat coat #pause.

femtanyl unfortunately didn't show up even though its her hometown show cuz of visa issues. apparently there was barely any merch but from what i saw it looked mid anyway so whatever. also the crowd was fine but it felt more like a underscores/hyperpop show than a danny brown crowd. maybe this is just the modern day equivalent of hipster fans but yeah i dont wanna sound offensive.

I hope Danny doesn’t feel discouraged about the mixed reception for this album At this point in his career, he doesn’t need to prove anything anymore. His legacy is already set in stone just off of XXX and AE alone
