But yeah it's still so sad these guys broke up.

Really praying for a Guy-Man appearance on The Weeknd's disco album. Especially with all the Guy-Man/Daft Punk stuff he's put all throughout his Memento Mori sections.

Yesterday was the first time since the break up that I heard one of their songs (Give Life Back to Music), a long time, still sounds good, this is not a disappointed ex fan post, I'm really happy that they broke up in a strange way but idk it not feels the same anymore, not in a sad way.
After that song I didn't have any desire to listen another song.

Yeah, sometimes it just kicks in that these guys ultimately gave up. Nothing wrong with that, but it's easy to forget these faceless artists/pioneers were just people - especially when their whole concept revolves around forgetting that.

Can't stress this enough though: check out Parcels' new album though.

Kinda disappointed there wasn't any Daft Punk production on the new Weeknd joint

Or Guy-Manuel since he was the one who worked with him prior

The album reminds me a lot of Sebastien Tellier's Sexuality which was produced by Guy-Manuel back in like 2009

Especially after he included a production joint from Daft Punk/Guy-Manuel on every Memento Mori leading up to it :(

Thomas isn't really into hip-hop stuff apparently, but we at least have ideas of what he's doing and a project that he's been composing. Guy-Man's last appearance was on MDM and there's no telling when/if we'll ever see him release music again.

It’s been dry since 2013 but I’m just pissed we didn’t get another tour or Tron 3 before they quit

I love DP (not the sexual act) but realistically how do you follow up an album like RAM?

That album is so organic that you would have to create something intensely futuristic or you would be retreading old ground
