hey brother I actually struggle with this a lot. especially recently. but I find - with the ideal of existentialism - that I have all of these things in my life that i’ve bought to make myself happy.

and you’re right, like literally what am I without all of these things but at the same time I know you’ve got a S/O so there’s a pure fact knowing that you’re actually worth something a lot more than just the things you’ve bought. you’re of a lot of value to that person I would imagine, more-so than just the things you’ve bought.

I sometimes myself have a hard time gauging why I even buy things but there’s so little time we have in earth and we’re obviously here for some interesting but vague reason so we just gotta do & buy and create the things that we enjoy. cause at the end of the day we really aren’t much tbh. that isn’t the most upbeat way to look at it, but it kinda helps me justify doing things I otherwise might not do or buy things that others might not buy etc. it’s all about the little things.
