Tends to happen with cars. I'd love to own a Porsche at some point, but they're mad expensive ( the ones I want, the aircooled ones) and I fear I might regret buying one, because it won't fulfill my expectations. I would love an old M-series BMW too, an E34 M5 would be nice. R32 has been going up in price neatly, doubled the worth since I've owned it.

Yeah I don't understand the hype for the air cooled Porsches at all lol, and the newer ones all look cheaper than they cost even though they have the performance. I've never heard of a reliable BMW it's sad tbh. And that's crazy with the R32, would've thought they'd peak when they became legal in the US and go back down

BMWs are not that bad tbh, I've had 2 as daily and they were fine. Premium cars often get neglected by people not having enough money to own them.
