not at a point where I want to carry like in public, but something to keep in the car on trips or something

over time I might get there tho and that model is ready for supp and red dot

Oh yeah for sure, get it if it’s optics ready. I can’t go back to irons after putting a dot on my pistol

Seems to only be a recent phenomenon. Honestly Holosun really helped to lower the barrier to entry. You used to have to pay $500 to get a decent handgun optic but holosun has a decent lineup at entry level pricing

Now everyone is doing it

Good choice

The only thing I would say is that Vortex has a known issue with the UH-1 where it will drain battery even when off. I and a couple others I know had to send it back for updates to resolve it. Just something to be aware of

I know the Gen 2 had a lot of improvements. This not one of them? Manufacturing defect or just the design?

It was a gen 2, other than that great optic

Only sold it because my astigmatism is far more manageable with holosun optics
