The game runs as well as any poorly optimized game runs on my rig but RTX doesn't make up for save-breaking bugs that have happened because no time was put into place to test this bullshit towards the end of its dev cycle

never mind glitches, the game's unfinished from head to toe. sure it's fun, but we're not going to act like this game isn't a shell of what was to be expected

lmfao i’m not responding to all the bullshit in the first part of your post, but you said “the console version is horrendous” and i told you to speak for yourself because my console version has played like a dream. don’t know what there was to misunderstand about that

the checkpoint system in this game is garbage. It can't auto-save or checkpoint when you're in combat. Well this whole mission is combat for like 45 minutes so each time you die you get put right back at the start. I even killed a boss but I gotta do that all over again.

I got it on ps5 and s***s pretty frustrating with the crashes. Even outside that, there's so much barebones stuff in this game that it's pretty dissapointing. I'd rather them focus on a few things and make them really in depth like rpg mechanics, story ect and they went the GTA route and tried to make it a sandbox do whatever you want type of thing. It ends up not doing much well, a lot of solid things in the game but overall nothing stands out, outside of the city environment and art direction. The guys who made the map did a phenomenal job, outside of that it's pretty much average to below average in a lot of things

For some it works relatively fine, for most theres some bugs it seems but idk if there are any crashes or game breaking bugs like on ps4/ xbox one. So you can take ur chances. I wouldnt tho tbh

personally im waiting till it goes on sale and gets revamped. game is a flop, no matter how fanboys try to put it.

My playthrough was about 60 hours and it crashed 26 times total (final crash was during the credits).

The bugs for the most part were funny but there were times where the game feels outright broken. (Enemies not even shooting back at you, cars randomly falling from the sky and exploding etc.)

Great game, I had lots of fun playing it however if you can wait until the next gen update is out later this year do it because it'll sure be worth it and be the experience everyone was looking for.

I was very forgiving when it comes to this game coming out in the state that it did. It helps that i got to experience it on PS5 rather than ps4 but i know many other players who couldn't deal with it even on the PS5.. i guess it just all comes down to your patience and tolerance for bugs and crashes.

Wait till at least end of February. There's a lot of crashes to a point I actually stopped playing and they're updating the game pretty heavy over the next 2 months. If it's still ass by then, wait till the next gen update for when it's cheap

Low-key I bought a ps5 for it. I knew I'd get one down the line anyway so I said f*** it I'll just grab it now so I can play this s*** and I barely touch it. I'ma wait for the updates cause I actually like the game but these crashes made me hate the game
