why does everything that doesnt meet peoples wild expectations suddenly have some guy that shows up on reddit and tells everyone there was a version of it with everything theyve ever wanted that existed a year ago but never released

man the choices in this game are some big illusions

Most dialogues (98%) have no impact on the story whatsoever. The vast majority of dialogue only changes the next line of dialogue and that’s it.

Only a very small subset of dialogues (around 2% of all dialogues) actually have any impact whatsoever. These are the choices pointed out in this guide.
    this worse than fallout 4

Its exactly whats going on. I am a huge stan of witcher 3. And i was very invested. But i cant sit here and shill for a game that clearly has major trouble playing on consoles.

If it works for you on pc, thats cool man. But im not gonna just wave off hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of people just because my experience is different

I think you misinterpreted his message you just completely agreed with him bro

The game-narrative feels illogical. Why should I do all these side stories (vending machine, gigs, buying cars etc.) when I'm about to die in few weeks and gotta take care about the chip asap.

This is Ubisoft level of Narrative X Open World

shot of panam i took these character models are some of the best ive seen

Was Johnny always in this games plot and always meant to be keanu?

I’m further in and it still feels tacked on. Game still would’ve been a cool blade runner cyberpunk style story without him being in ur brain like joker in Arkham Knight.

Doing a cool hitman job in a factory, killing all these gang members and taking out the leader feels cool without having keanu show up and talk about his touring band

CP77 gotta be the game with the most cut content

    3rd person cutscenes
realistic npc AI (daily routines bla bla)
    wall running
    Jackies intro arc
    2 cut arcs
    faction arcs (content)
    Probably also flying cars
    buying multiple apartments
    flathead
almost no impact for story decisions

    and so much more

    You’re trying not to die

You gotta do whatever it takes to save your life

Obviously huge ending spoilers but: you can live at the end

They couldn’t even finish 3/4 of a game after the delays

I think they really f***ed themselves by hyping this for current gen for so long

Im at the "play it safe" mission right now and probably close to the end. Still gotta do to some side quests like sinnerman, judy and panam story line.

But i gotta say that Deus Ex MD is the better Cyberpunk (at the moment). Cyberpunk feels unfocused and too ambitious for its own good. Not feeling the story line and the most of the characters too.

yeah but I should waste my time to do some stupid (and boring ass) side gigs, when i should act quickly to save my ass.

Many Open World games have this problem (AC Origins, Ghost of Tsushima etc)

    ludo-narrative dissonance

that does happen in some games but in this one you can play it as though you’re really concerned and rush through everything or you can play it your own way. The game doesn’t decide for you so it can’t be ludo narrative dissonance. The player is V and V can be as concerned or not concerned with life/death or main plot as they want.

For a game that puts Immersion to a higher rank its distracting as f***

The Last of Us 2 was also weird because of this.

Ellie b\*\*\*\*ed and cried about killing people gruesomly (Nora) and two minutes she goes on another killing spree. Same with the Abby ending, where she killed 20 people in Santa Barbara
