Dont even know why they bothered with it in the first place tbh. Their audience doesnt care for that & the gameplay is fine to good, but its not a comp FPS level of good.

That was always a red flag to me.

CDPR just poorly ran, since Witcher 1 they historically have always had their games launch with bugs and what not, but they would keep adding to them and they'd be great games after a couple months. They were also much less known until Witcher 3 dropped.

That kind of work ethic and mindset doesn't really work or do you any favors once you get as big as they got and with the amount of hype they generated for the game. They not lowkey anymore, you can't put out a half assed buggy product with so many eyes on you and get away with it.

Just reading on the disconnect, poor marketing, and higher ups on the team putting their foot in their mouth over the course of this shows how badly run things are over there imo. Hopefully they learn from this tho and fix all that s***

I think it’s all downhill from here sadly, no matter how good their next game is. This s*** show and the unrealistic expectations set by TW3 will affect them badly. No matter how good cp2077 and witcher 4 turn out to be, they’ll never be as good as TW3 in the publics eye.
