S***s actually challenging, sometimes the game tells you to wait and go back to someone later but in reality you have to go back really soon or else it fails because you’re too late and you get no heads up or explanation the quest just fails

Just finished the intro, a couple hours in and this is one of the best games I’ve played in a long time

this happens on the witcher 3 aswell, you got to not talk to the npc that starts the quest. or else you kinda begin that questline and if you leave or fast travel out , you could fail the quest

I like the game but it was just massively overhyped and that's the biggest issue m if this game came out from a developer nobody knew and didn't have as much hype we'd see it differently
There are definite flaws that shouldn't exist though, especially based on things they've said.
Textures look flat and muddled, resolution gets pretty low and blurry, cops spawning from anywhere, bad AI, the crafting mechanics are basically useless, enemy encounters are pretty weak with bullet sponges as enemies, a depopulated world, while the city itself is awesome there's not as much to do in it as you'd like for an RPG. It doesn't need GTA level sandbox stuff but little things like this add up. Now add in how buggy it is and it makes sense why people are frustrated.
CDPR is usually on top of little things like this that's why is disappointing

Yea I think it was meant to be a lot more but with old hardware and multiple platforms it became difficult to code for each and get the bugs out so they had to scale it back. From old stuff about the game it seemed like they really wanted it to effect decisions you can make in the story but they definitely made huge cutback to everything with that included.
