Honestly, I don’t even know.

It’s clear last gen consoles is what was really the bane of this game and why it was delayed so much. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if the reason why even the PC version is so buggy is because they focused so much on even getting it to run on last gen (since that’s where most of the sales will be).

I don’t think they’ll necessarily cut their losses altogether when it comes to last gen, but I think it’s gonna be really obvious that they’re gonna wanna try and push people to play the game on next-gen and push THAT as the definitive, intended experience (outside of PC of course).

Especially given the fact that it’s a free upgrade, so, theoretically, every person who owns a copy now will have access to the next gen version when that upgrade drops (and if you own a PS4/XBONE, then it’s pretty safe to assume that at some point you’re going to get a PS5/XBSX).

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if that version is even better received than the PC, because by then a lot of the bugginess will hopefully be squashed, and there’ll be free DLC added to the game by then (I’m gonna hazard a guess and predict the patch will drop in April or May).

My theory also is that they delayed also cause 3000 series and amd gpus hadn’t been widely available so imagine people trying run this s*** on 2000 series as peak setting

This is first game on last gen that really shows it’s age I am surprised it’s took so long I remember a lot games for 360 and ps3 by 2012 looked like ass (Far Cry 3 on last gen was running on literally 15 FPS I swear) and even gta v while nowhere as buggy usually would get 20 to 25 FPS.

Gunplay isn’t bad though especially once you get decent weapons and you kit them out right

What people probs experiencing is they rush though game and they fight harder enemies but they don’t have any money to buy best weapons or clothes cause they don’t do any side missions
