Reinstalled my driver directly from Nvidia website and put cascade show on medium and now this game is running beautifully 7 hours in and I've ran into very few bugs

yeah all settings maxed. framerate surprisingly smooth

it hasnt been a bad experience on ps5 but I haven’t been amazed yet either

I find rpgs And open worlds tough these days

I enjoyed New vegas skyrim rdr gtas witcher etc when i was young coz could just play all day straight

But like rdr2 for example i just sold after a little bit because i never had time to get into it

One thing really pissing me off about this game is how brain-dead every NPC seems. They just wander around like zombies and never say anything worth a damn.

I'm gonna regret buying this huh f*** me

Are there many RPGs out there with NPCs that actually say anything worthwhile though ? Lol

They usually just repeat one or two lines in most games

Just played this for 3 hours on a PS5.

Pros:

• I really enjoy the driving, the cars have some weight to them and don’t feel arcadey and paper light

• The shooting is nice, feels a lot better than what the gameplay trailers showed, there’s some decent kickback (only shot a pistol)

• The city looks beautiful at night

• Lots of inspiration taken from Tokyo & Blade Runner has been incorporated like the street signs, vending machines, stalls, the city seems immersive

Cons:

• The city outside of V’s apartment is pretty dead, I counted 2 cars on the highway

• Major bug in a mission resulted in one of the characters to freeze in mid air, I was unable to whip out a gun so i literally had to run past 30 enemies to the last check point and finish the mission

• Textures in the daytime up close aren’t the best

• NPCs are brain dead

I do feel the game will improve greatly overtime. Looking forward to future patches, additions and of course the next gen update.

Yeah true but I expected them to make me feel more immersed in the world. The more I pay attention to them it just takes me out.
