It’s like EVERYONE is super agro in this game and talks exactly the same. There isn’t any wit or anything to the dialogue, it’s just constant, blunt aggression.

I realize that. And again, I have no problems with over the top dialogue, but still, there’s seldom few pieces of media that I can think of with such abrasive dialogue that also simultaneously manages to tell a mature and complex story.

And the delivery feels off as well, like they explicitly told the voice actors to say these lines with as much edge as possible, to a point where it almost sounds melodramatic.
