The opposite fam
To be clear: the next gen update will make it a lot harder for the PS5 to handle, especially with ray-tracing, so they’ll need to cap it at 30fps
Meanwhile, the PS5 will chew through the ps4 version of cyberpunk, getting double the performance probably. So 30fps on ps4 and 60fps running on PS5 in game boost mode
Well I assumed they'd throw in a 60fps performance mode or 30fps ray tracing mode option in the next gen patch. You might be right though
might have to play this on my ps4pro
ps5 is not secure in time
Good thing I got a Series X
. Reflections looked so much better on the SX. And this isn’t even the optimized version
Niggas could’ve at the very least added 60 frames smh
stiff
Idk, gunplay looks fine to me. Also keep in mind that you’ll have to build your skills with your weapon over time before you can become skilled it. Possibly could be contributing to what you’re seeing. I think there’s been an improvement though from the last bit of gameplay we’ve seen, but maybe that’s just me.
Still excited for this, but man CDPR has to truly deliver something special with this game.
This game absolutely has to be AT LEAST a strong 9/10, otherwise it will be seen as a disappointment and a wasted opportunity by most
Gameplay was never cdpr strength
Combat looks better and will likely be more varied than The Witcher 3, and driving undeniably looks better than TW3.
That’s how I’m looking at it.

No they’ve been tweaking it, they said so themselves (alongside driving).
Everything they’ve showed us is also apparently from the beginning of the game, so we have yet to see mid-high level play.
god im so hyped for this
but I wouldn't be surprised if it is a letdown
Well apparently CDPR says they plan on having reviews and such come out about a week before release, so if that is the case we should at least have a indication of whether or not they nailed it before release.
this bout to flop so bad
i cant wait to participate in thread in the coming months

this has been exactly my concern the entire time. everyone wants to give cdpr the benefit of the doubt because of Witcher 3 but it's like they forgot that game doesn't really have great actual gameplay. it was the story and world that kept people interested. hopefully that can be the case with cyberpunk too, but I hope the gameplay isn't too janky. if it is, it might ruin the game.
people nitpicking the hell out of the game as if that 2018 demo alone didn't s*** on every game before and after it

Dialogue systems and the like are gameplay though, same thing with dynamic choices and exploration. Disco Elysium for example is an incredible RPG and it doesn’t even have combat.
How many open world, 3D RPGs have gameplay mechanics that are on par with decided shooters and the like? Hell, how many open world games in general have shooting as good as dedicated shooters and driving as good as dedicated racers?
You have to look at games within their respective context.

Almost every RPG I’ve ever seen gets this type of s*** before release.
People were saying Witcher 3 was going to a massive disappointment ahead of its release.
game will be great, but i doubt the story and characters will come close to red dead 2 and the witcher, which are imo the best open world games in this gen.
everything they showed about the story and chars (besides keanu) looks kinda underwhelming. Voice acting seems also corny sometimes.
i guess the open world and interactivity will be a new reference for games in general.

That’s the thing we know nothing about the story or characters yet, 80% of the footage we seen is from the prologue

this is why i said "everything they showed yet", i still got goosepumps from the story trailers of red dead 2 and the witcher 3.
When the time comes, you gotta run and dont look back, This is over
