HaroldsChickenSaw second time these are my notes of things
so Nikki the possessed version was essentially fighting with the real one all movie . She shows signs of being there in the beginning then slowly losing the fight alcohol and sleep possibly making it easier for her to come out . Nikki possessed was imitating who she knew he loved . She sits and waits for him like the cat and watches him sleep like the cat . Smokes and has tattoos like Sarah in the end . He is the true villain of the movie . He is the obsessed one who can’t let her go .
when real Nikki came out at the party scene, she bashed her head with glass. I believe that was an attempt for her body to be taken to the hospital to be examined. Desperate attempt. Cool idea if I’m right which I may very well not be haha

My theater was packed and seemed to have a fun time with it though.

Fix spoiler tags. But yes she says she is controlling me as in other side . I don’t think she thought doctor would help so much as she thought people would view it as odd enough to separate them . Same as reading her Hansel and gretel book which kind of implied she still viewed him as a brother . He said he loved invisible man ( the director) and I think they made bear the true villain in many ways

Video with Curry Barker said at SX that no one has noticed that the jingle when Baron opens the Willow box after he’s already wished is different than when he opened it the first time. You hear the original jingle again when Nikki opens it and presumably (he didn’t directly say, I’m saying this) when Ian opens it.

One other thing people were uncomfortable when the customer guy lets baron hear the real Nikki screaming. That was like oh my god

To be honest
wish we saw a bit more of Nikki the character .she gets left with all the destruction of her friend group. Whole time she was just trying to write a love story . Bear was too afraid to confess his love . Sarah was too afraid to confess her love . Ian would never tell his best friend he was booking up with his crush . Nikki was secure in herself and was truly a non villain .
