get off your phone and pay attention to the film :vlosereave:
One thing that I appreciate is that most people understand that consent goes out the window in this scenario. Wish somebody told Patty Jenkins about this before making Wonder Woman screw Steve occupying another man's body.
I can't get over how awful this guy is. You can hear her fighting internally, begging for release, but you wanna keep her confined in this nightmare.
How did they manage to make it look...good on that budget? Having watched the film, I wouldn't know that it cost less than a million
the scene when he calls the hotline and hears Nikki’s screams , holy s***
Debating on watching this with my grandma
Sara pls
I dont think ever since i was a kid i was genuinely a bit spooked by a horror movie but watching this on the big screen... ngl, there were some moments where i wanted to look away for a bit
Can't really tell why this was different from all the other countless horror movies but maybe due to the fact that the characters and dynamics between them are really well made, and well acted.
As soon as i found myself cringing in that first car scene, i was already invested. The scariest thing was the unpredictable behaviour coming from "freaky nikki", her snapping in and out, was brilliant.
There's some minor issues i have with it tho but overall was really enjoyable

I get that he's suppose to be the antagonist but wish they made that a bit more nuanced thru the whole movie, know what i mean? Feel like they try to do that at the start but at some point, there's no redeeming quality to him.
"what's so bad about being with me" it is a great moment tho

Even now, with his character as is, you got some folks tryna find that nuance you're talking about in Bear's character, when he's clearly written to be a slimeball "nice guy." This other YouTuber caught a lotta flack for tryna imply that Bear was decent for not tryna take advantage of Nikki at first, as if that's not the bare f***ing minimum

Nahh that's wild. Maybe making it actually ambiguous, like I was suggesting, would be a terrible mistake lmao
Man…
This was really great.
Just watched it.
Just great.
I like how they took feelings and mannerisms that you know from a relationship and turned up to a 1000.
It made it really funny.
Beautiful visual style.
Great acting and story
I really loved the music also and how they used it.
Next movie I am gonna watch will be Backrooms
this gets better the more that I think about it and see other people's thoughts. Barker has a bright future. I like how he said hereditary was a major influence and ended up making something better right out the gate
