    PAINMAN

people taking this movie s*** too serious

    https://twitter.com/timbakktwo/status/2066613913714921929

I was laughing when she was bashing Sarah's face on the steering wheel because it was so ridiculously over the top

Feel like that's also just a normal response when the body doesn't know what else to do when responding to over the top gore and nastiness like this movie shows at times

Horror and comedy go hand in hand wayyy more often than people think .
Both genres are surreal and absurd, and people tend to react to those vibes with laughter

If you’re ever laughing during a horror film, there’s a good chance the director fully expected those moments to get some awkward laughs

I remember watching Panic Room with my family in front of the TV as a kid and I LOL'd when Kristen Stewart stabbed someone in the eye or throat with a pen or something. My mom spoke to me the next day talking about she's worried about me, she thinks video games are desensitizing me etc. When the scene was just so sudden and over the top that it caught me off guard and my body just laughed as an automatic response

How is there anyone who thinks Nikki liked him pre-wish? I feel like it was the most obvious s*** ever that she didn’t. She literally said “ew” at the idea of it at one point.

One of the things I like about this movie is most of the characters' actions, including the main, are morally dubious at best. He figured out pretty quickly the wish was legit, he knows it's not Nikki fr but kept trying to figure out some way to keep her while getting rid of the crazy s***. His friend also pretty f***ed up for listening to him simp over her while hooking up with her for 2 years

I think he knew Sarah f***ed with him and they'd be a better match but he didn't want to settle for her because Nikki hotter

  • this s*** was a ride. a total trip..

sidenote: bear tripping....'cause i would've knocked Sarah all the way down..
