I haven’t seen mandalorian so I’m partially joking . The demand for obsession feels well timed with likable new faces . Going viral and high schoolers getting out of school . Also a good one off movie adults can see where it’s not begging to have a sequel and isn’t a franchise . It’s a good set up

Oh no I get that my whole tangent was separate from Mando (which is just an okay movie at the end of the the day nothing offensively bad imo but like also I'm not clamoring to see it again, but I'm also a big Star Wars fan so there's that)

But yeah this movie I hope is a beacon for the future of the industry

Crazy part is many still rushed to hate on this movie with new faces cheap budget that found a way . Because Hollywood does feel threatened by something like this

that was goal . I heard about this back and film fest season and nearly saw at film fest here in Chicago but had car issues . So was trying to get people to watch it and discuss it

Between this and Backrooms we are seeing a sea change in the industry begin

Backrooms I fear will be too vague Gen Z for me but in . It has star power and it’s a24 so it will bring people
