Friend group was supposed to be terrible . think he had the sleeping pills that messy because he was possibly considering death before
i thought that too but its so lame to leave that out for ur cat to get into. i kinda disliked him from that point and how he reacted to it. but thats the point i suppose

Yeah all of that is the point
him irresponsibly leaving the pills out that he would later kill himself with in the same location . Not doing a proper burial or disposal of his cat . Him using the dead cat as pity but not actually admitting his actions lead to its death
she didn't have a crush on the friend, they was already f\*\*\*in lmao
I’m pretty sure that’s who she was talking about bro
this was good, idk all that about movie of the year (the drama and PHM beats this easily) but for a low budget movie it’s really solid. b**** who played nikki acted her ass off
Project Hail Mary is a movie that you watch one time and there is no reason to ever watch again lmao
Let’s gooooo good energy to you
That was great. Homie was a capitol P PAHUSSSSYYY
Saw this over the weekend, didn't know much going in so no real expectations but I thought this was great. Creepy and unsettling as all hell. S*** was gas
They gotta pull that and let it run longer in theaters only
Anything I see from this is just pasty white ppl doing the spectrum of soy faces but with blood
you can tell they werent expecting this to be a hit. only 17 days in theaters before digital is crazy
Twitter being so weird about this movie currently. I'm seeing people tryna start rumors that Curry didn't actually direct the movie

saw this review yesterday
A ½ review of Obsession (2025)
A snivellingly juvenile film that hates women, mentally ill people, and its audience. Atrociously written — thuddingly obvious, with incoherent, absent characterisation. The Substance for losers. Worst of the decade. F*** you.

They were confident in it . But a hit with word of mouth to this degree ? No . This did well at film festivals and reviews . Then they did some marketing but strong word of mouth created a moment .

People are so stupid man . It’s genuinely not even funny how bad media literacy is . Because truth be told there is a scene in the movie that I felt was a bit awkward how clear it was making the message and they still didn’t get it .

I saw people saying they didn't like how morally ambiguous they made Bear's character. I feel like in the beginning I guess you could probably feel that way, but the movie makes it explicitly clear after the scene where the Real Nikki is saying "kill me" repeatedly that Bear is a piece of s\*\*\*.

I think the s\*\*\*scene was so triggering for some that they knew they were going to hate the movie and I get it . They feel there was no empowerment of Nicki fighting from inside or screaming on the phone to end with a dark ending of bodies around . They don’t get that the tragic part is the entire friend group could be solved with honesty to each other . I wish we saw a bit more of Nicki perspective but I get the why . It’s a horror that doesn’t comfort you at the end makes you question real life things . That’s why I think it’s great . Also they don’t get Nicki did like bear at beginning
