I mean it’s clear foreshadowing at no point is it truly trying to be unpredictable . That’s part of the point of the wish for someone to love you it removes the unpredictability. I don’t see a world where she fights the spirit then wins . Wish undoes everything. Happy ending for anyone involved that delivers the message . I do wish we got a bit more time with Nikki and her perspective even if seeing her do more while possessed without bear on screen / how she internally experienced but I understand why we didn’t

they were all imperfect before the wish though . None of them could be their true selves . Nikki hiding an situationship . Sarah liked bear and joked about homeless . Ian lived for trivia night and was against his friend finally having the courage to say something if it was there . Cause technically bear was about to be more honest and open but Ian purposely stopped him . He wanted to do it at the table and was telling Ian to leave with Sarah then went to the bar with her for same reason
