This is random asf but I just remembered a time when I was like 17-18 and said in a group chat we had that I wanted to get married when I was 25. @PrinceAlexander_ said that sounded crazy since he was around 25 at the time, I didn't really understand it since it seemed like a good age to settle done and chill. Tbh I’m getting older now and just now starting to feel like I would like to find someone. I’ve spent most of my life being okay being by myself tho cuz I knew I needed to grow a lot more and it’s easier doing that by myself imo. I always felt like wen the time was right the universe would present me with the opportunity. Rushing it felt fabricated and forced, I know lots of young people who’s relationships didn’t work like that cuz they changed so much as they matured. It’s why Ive always thought getting married early is risky.
