I mean Cudi probably more popular now than he has ever been since Indicud so I don't think he really relying on ye. Maybe Ye helped him climb back out of that hole he was in.

Because Cudi went from SBTH selling 15k first week to a few years later MOTM3 sells 150k

What was the precursor to MOTM3 selling 150K?

And what lead to that drought to begin with? Outside of the individuals music there is a common denominator.

Respectfully. Not tryna play him at all but Ye has helped tremendously.

  • Used to bump him when I lived in Florida during my late hs days lol.

Ya the only cudi album I’ve never been able to come around to loving is sbth tbh. I think that album coming out around my best friend passing away at the time scared me away from it tho. I didn’t need more depression in my life atm.
Maybe one day I will give it another chance.!

    Sorry to hear that fam,

I love PPDS, but it came out when I was 18 and had my first love. Who I also took to the tour which was my first Cudi show. But she cheated on me shortly after and the relationship was just took a massive mental toll on me. To the point where afterwards I was in a really dark place which I didn't get out of for a year.

I don't really listen to PPDS often because I'll find myself thinking of that scary period of my life.
