their first album was/is so inspirational to me in so many ways, the way people hold drake up as a beacon of toronto is the way I look at these guys. they captured the feeling of the city so perfectly

they are more on the party side for sure, they lack that full-blown melancholy feel and productions are simpler, but I think it's enough, i think it's better than trying to be exact copies
