MidnightOVODefinitely recommend checking out independent RIAs. You dont get the big name like “Goldman Sachs” or “JP Morgan” but the environments are generally more chill and you get more freedom and more 1-on-1 experience/access to the highest producing advisors for tips, tricks, etc.
They usually hire as needed too from what i remember when i graduated
You also have a bigger chance at inheriting B.O.B when advisors retire/leave. I started out as an operations manager (basically handling anything clients need when they arent having their quarterly review) and now im in a supervisor role looking over the Ops team and have my own clients.
So its a little more work upfront and doesnt carry as much prestige but a great opportunity if it aligns with what youre interested in
