Mobeen noticing that I've been watching less films in these crazy times. Thought I'd end up watching more, but I've been watching easy-viewing stuff like comedy panel shows more.
Guess it's easier for me to watch stuff like that in stressful times than 3 hours of existential drama in a language I don't speak.
Anyone feel similar or are you guys the opposite?
I'm using this time to catch up on classics but overall I agree.
Not the best to watch heavy movies all day during this.

if you can then it's a great time to catch up on classic. And lot of classics aren't necessary heavy either so that's good. What have you been watching?
Might watch some Ophüls tonight to stop just watching s*** to pass the time.

dundishaven't been going lately and they've showed vertigo, strangers on a train and rear window
def going to see drive and the master if they're still open by the end of the month
they cancelled the f***ing leopard
got a great cinema there. not during a f***ing pandemic of course but outside of that lol.

Using this Mubi membership to see a good chunk of the acclaimed Louis Malle movies. Using a vpn to get the full selection of Mubi in different countries
I have a lot of stuff in my watchlist but I mainly want to see Shame, Seventh Seal and Wild Strawberries in the next few days

i don't know i rail amphetamine and watch stuff. i had quit uni before this happened so it's business as usual since i've had a lot of spare time
it's a mix though, i've been going through my laurel & hardy set which is easily digestable but i've had my fair share of foreign lately

Man I can’t feel s*** when I watch movies on addy. Like some stuff is great fun while geeked up but most others I feel like I have to rewatch sober cuz nothing sticks

opposite for me tbh. i get totally immersed, and yes, it's like going on fast-forward but I retain all of it and I don't notice it while watching, only when checking the time
I don't always do this though but if i'm gonna watch something a little more "serious" I have to balance out the drowsiness and rétardation caused by x**** and klonopin with speed, so they kinda cancel each other out
