KinoLorber really came through with those 80s & 90s godard upgrades a coupke years ago. Copped them all instantly. Such a great purchase
I agree. I watched it both and they're all stunning!

Yikes, they really just putting out anything now. Haven’t had an exciting release / announcement in months.
Cool to see an Uncut Gems release, but the cover art is pretty lame, especially for criterion standards.
F***ing safdies did it smh
Good movie but still
already a lionsgate blu of it too for $8
special features kinda stacked though but i don't really care for the film enough to even consider buying this

UG was dramatically better that GT but yeah still not copping

Damn I’m the only one excited for Uncut lmaooooo
I love uncut gems but i dont care much for it taking up a spot in criterion's new releases, especially since you can literally buy it on blu-ray elsewhere right now for $8
Something else that is less "current", and less accessible in home media could've taken that spot.
YOU CANT EVEN LOOK ME IN THE F***IN EYES MAN TO MAN!

I feel you but was niggas like this with Parasite and Irishman too? Or Marriage story, Roma, Portrait of a lady on fire?

yea, if i recall correctly. some ppl in here even s***ted on the netflix criterion deal which gave us marriage story n irishman on CC
altho except for parasite none of those had home video releases in the US, and the crit parasite had the b&w cut. this is just essentially special features for 39.99 msrp

I was like that with parasite because again, other blus exist and there's no reason for new releases to be so current back-to-back-to-back.
But those other films you names are all netflix originals. They have no physical releases outside of criterion.
