Have you ever lived in a inner city, do you listen to the testimonies of black youth that encounters violence from age 11 and up?
    -getting jumped,

    • gangs :there was this kid who at 12 years old got his chain robbed and a glock shoved in his mouth telling him to chose a side neighborhood
    !https://youtu.be/N9ybMr-rhpE
    • police brutality
-unnecessary fights with random people at a bar, school,
-protecting women (usually their lady or a family member)
      -other reasons

physical violence outside of the home is statistically worse for boys/men especially in poor neighborhoods
I thought that this was common knowledge
Just dismissing realities for whatever reason isn't changing anything, we can fight all forms of violence if we acknowledged them first.

Yes I have. That dosent happen to every male child just like every female child dosent get raped.
Is a man more likely to get jumped/in a fight deal with gang related things? Yes.

I’m not dismissing anything. Women are still more vulnerable what is so hard to understand about that?

pretty sure she's referring to sexual assault/rape which women are much more likely to be victims of

Pretty sure that the circumstances these horrible acts take place in, aren't in your backseat.
It's most likely a person close to you + recruiters (of which 42% are women)

Honestly tho it would be unusually inventive of a killer/rapist to hide in ya backseat lol
I don’t know why they check for that, not very realistic

A lot of young black boys get raped by older women but prefer to laugh it off and stay silent. This is a serious problem. Black boys too are victim of sexual assault and s***trafficking.

yes and this is horrible but they aren't as likely to be victims as women

I care for every victim of sexual assault and trafficking obviously and all of them need justice (and as you said mens assault cases aren't taken as seriously as womens which is a topic of toxic masculinity which needs to be addressed) but women are clearly more likely to be at risk of it then men

Depends on what women you're talking about.
Poor neighborhoods have it much worse than the suburbs.
Not every woman grows up with fear of getting raped/abducted whilst getting in their car. Get a grip. (at night things can be more scary though)
Playing this "we're more vulnerable" card isn't resolving issues that wome'women face, it's just justifying irrational fears like the one this lady has
Yes its irrational just like being afraid of planes crashing is irrational yet very real (some people take medication before a flight just to cope).

Poor neighborhoods have pretty much everything worse than the suburbs that’s a given. These things don’t just happen near the home lmao You know people leave their vicinity right? This is not irrational at all but you don’t even want to try to see why.

They really act like every little inconvenience in life is supposed to make the world stop. They even do this s*** at the expense of actual victims of horrible acts because this climate of "everyone deserves a platform to speak their mind on social media" kind of drowns out the injustices that are gradually worse, every experience is likened to another by using the lowest common denominator and real issues don't get adressed this way. It's narcissistic as hell in my opinion.

this thread is a mess i know none of you got any life experience

i think nearly every girl ive been somewhat close to has told me at some point shes been raped/sexually assaulted/made to feel uncomfortable by a man. Women have it so much worse than us. the anxiety ive seen this cause in women is nothing like the little fears we have as men this s*** literally f***s up womens lives forever once it takes place.

Nah it's dangerous to think like that. There is a stigma around men who are victim of sexual assault and domestic abuse. Many of them are afraid to speak about it. Society make it seem like sexual predators only prey on women and girls. John Wayne Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer two of the most dangerous american serial killers were targeting mostly men and young boys. I don't think there is a large disparity between men and women when it comes to sexual abuse. Men and boys just tend to not talk about it or report it.

I already said that It'll be someone you know or a recruiter
-The person that knows you will use that to their advantage (lure you in with something you're familiar with and will willingly walk into like a party, a shoping spree or whatever)
-recruiters have their techniques of reaching poor, destabilized children and women (there are books on this FYI)
Nobody is reaching to kidnap a woman (especially not a white woman) by sitting in their car waiting for you. The probability of that happening is most likely ZERO unless you provide documenting to claim that it IS the most prominent place for these acts to occur in, regularly thus justifying that fear.
    If not, get a grip.

It’s sad women have this conditioning due to training or whatever but lets be real men live way more dangerous lives in the west

They acting like women are disproportionately murdered, beat, etc and it’s due to a mass culture of men carrying these thinhs out on women

It’s just fact if yr a dude another dude is more likely to fo u a harm than a dude to a woman

Women on twitter love being afraid of statistics they made up

I believe women face sexual violence more than men, even if we account for those who don't report
Men face sexual violence and don't report because of normalization and stigma znd face physical violence that is normalized or blamed on them (men are more dangerous/inherently violent)
There are ways to remediate to violence but everything today is an identity politics war.

I just wanna say while what you’re saying is mostly true that dosent really mean much. We as people don’t go by statistics that much because they’re not the best to go by. That’s like saying you shouldn’t be alert of afraid in a place you don’t know about since you’re a lot more likely to get murdered by someone you know than you don’t.

And it’s not just kidnapping. Robbery and sexual assault can happen. It Also seems you’re focusing on this about white women than women in general

Those two were murderers that happened to be gay. And wasn’t a sexual predator just a deranged murderer. dahmer did what a lot of rapist/killers do ( target the homeless or black people or both cause they know the police won’t give a f***). While it may not be a large disparity but it’s also something women have to go with throughout their whole lives while men it’s usually when they’re children and Adolescents.
