i just don’t think he thinks of this s*** as much as millions of fans are thinking of this s***
he just sees something cool and will talk about it
He's basically a casual
you'd think an unfinished album that led one to believe ye's running on empty would not inspire thousands of words
Wtf is this anti intellectualism
Is Craig any good? I think I peeped him once but never peeped again anyway got links to good stuff?
yeah he’s one of the best doing it rn
ye passing carti the torch bc they’re both closeted bisexuals let’s keep it a buck fifty
i tried to tell the people this but they stoned me for telling the truth
if one of them come out, i honestly think a lot of people would come out the closet with them
I believe it. But there has been no evidence for it and if ye really is bisexual why wouldn’t he just come out given that he’s so “real” and always “speaking the truth”
you'd think an unfinished album that led one to believe ye's running on empty would not inspire thousands of words
that’s what i’m saying
from a writer point of view, dont give this attention. don’t say anything if you want to make a point!
i don’t get how writers can say they detest the spectacle when all they do is engage with it.
at least be like the rest of us and admit thé nigga got u in an attention chokehold
Why ye release an unfinished album lmao
He didnt release s***. Where is it on my streaming platform of choice??
The beats not even that good lol
Really? I haven't heard but I always at least give Kanye production. But if he ain't even got that no more then yeah this nigga really might've fallen off lol
I believe it. But there has been no evidence for it and if ye really is bisexual why wouldn’t he just come out given that he’s so “real” and always “speaking the truth”
because being « real » doesn’t mean being true to yourself
being real in hip hop, bump that, as a black man, does not mean being your most authentic self
zay totally had the audience to come out, but i’m sure as hell he didn’t have the real life support system to do so. money and power doesn’t free you. it takes a system of love and care and lot of patience. a lot of patience, to be truly authentic with yourself in this way
people online will have you believe being queer is the mainstream, but i can promise you that outside of SOME college campuses and SOME neighborhoods it’s really f***ing not.
i actually don’t know if ye is bisexual tho i am half kidding. but hes more of a w**** for older rich white men then lana del rey!

Lost me at the last part. Also I find it funny some ppl still force this narrative of Ye’s sexuality being bi. Man is obsessed with big booty hoes and p***stars
Isn’t it locked behind the purchase of a $200 sand dollar?
Most probably don’t even care he dropped tbh.
$200 sand dollar is crazy
You win post of the day

Well put bro
Very obvious
The last album he actually had something to say on was Ye and his fans arent mature enough for that yet
He clearly has things to say on this album, though.
True Love, Broken Road, Get Lost, Too Easy, Flowers, Security, and Sci-Fi all express where he's at in life and with his divorce.
Beyond that, a lot of these tracks are still filled with mumbles. Once he, hopefully, fleshes this out to its fullest it has the potential to be an incredible album imo. Its just not done.
Do y'all know anybody irl that bought a stem player?
Nope. I only know one other person irl who's heard the album, and he's also a user on here

really funny line here about loving old white men that puts his actions since 2016 into a diff kind of light, an angle that ive been trying to articulate for months on here but couldn’t find the words for
Thought Donda 1 was a pretty good comeback album, and there’s plenty of themes in it. Donda 2, as is, is not a good album. We’ll see if it has anything to say when there’s actual lyrics and it’s more fleshed out.

fam u literally criticizing an article on the basis of its word count lol
how are we critiquing something that we all now isn't finished?!
from the article:
Fans have adopted the language of video-game developers as mixes are tweaked and “patch notes” are circulated. Hastily reworked albums and promising songs left on the cutting-room floor hurt the dependability of an artist whose catalogue once challenged the greatest in hip-hop. We used to hear stories of legendary sessions where West, taskmaster and perfectionist, pushed collaborators to greatness they hadn’t believed possible and matched their achievements with his own. Now, we pay to play his demos.
The stems bear out how little is there, presenting an intriguing test case for a gadget that lets you carve a track like a chicken. Finishing all the lyrics wouldn’t make these songs seem less like gilded, untouched rooms in a mansion. There isn’t much precedent for an artist at Ye’s level selling music this far from sounding done or for tying the release to $200 personal electronics.
or you could’ve just read it before posting
