Idk if anyone else will feel this, but Kingdom Hearts Key deserves a Sir Michael Rocks feature

just relistened. wouldn't change it. I think both halves work in their lane.

In fact, I'll relisten to XXX today. Could be that I'd put Old above it. That listen was pretty intense. Didn't listen to both for a while and for some reason I feel a bit more partial to Old yet I remember thinking that XXX is better.

the only weak tracks on Old's second half are Break It (Go) and maybe Dope Song (despite the intro and outro). Kush Coma, Smokin' & Drinkin', Dip and Dubstep are among the best of the album.The stretch from Dip to Kush Coma just feels like one continous stream of consciousness. Ok, the lyrics are pretty basic s***and d**** lyrics but I guess that's the point. The introspection of Side A is paralleled by his deranged and neurotic side. Like if you're completely overwrought with troubling thoughts late night at a party and you're basically losing control. At least that's how I've always interpreted it. Full of insecurity but nothing I'd take at face value.
