Idk what he got sober from initially but it sounds like he cut one thing out that he thought was the issue, still drinks and does psychedelics etc and is now realising he needs to be 100% sober

I feel like jpeg doesn’t know how to mix Danny’s vocals + Danny’s delivery is off on this tape
He’s about to go into rehab and I feel like he just wasn’t in a good place when they were cooking this. Some of these verses kinda just feel like the most predictable phoned in and simple Danny verses oat that he was just writing filler to get them recorded with slurry & off-delivery

I think he's saying Danny wasn't in a good place. And tbh he isn't.
I believe he (went? Is going?) to rehab to try and get sober, but he also thinks he'll lose his rapping ability/subject matter if he's clean
Which probably wouldn't be true but makes it that much harder for him to get the help he needs.
