of closed cases I think is what hes referring to

Is it really accurate to judge by closed cases though? I mean it’s not like everyone who has the virus dies or recovers at the same rate

    active cases is 4%

    closed cases is 9%

the media is talking about active cases to not alarm people even more

But among closed cases, people can recover at different rates

I believe the reported 3.5-4% is because of predicted convergence, closed cases isn't a good predictor right now because of the difference in time between recovery and death

It’s very innacurate to judge by closed cases because an insane amount of people who have this aren’t even getting tested, so obviously the number will be lower than 9%

its more accurate than to judge by active cases , those can still go both ways

It makes more sense to only look at the closed cases and how many of them died instead of adding the number of open cases to the number of recovered patients

that same logic applies to active cases

Wasn’t there another flu people were worried about in 2014? Hardly anyone in the states were affected by it. New paranoia for the new decade.

Oh boy some of these posts didn’t age well

But there are still more people who have it than have been tested, and among those who had it, it could’ve been closed cases

idk man , maybe you're right - there's also a lot of people ( old people specially ) that could have died without being tested

closed cases worldwide (either dead or recovered): 89035

    Dead: 7933

    7933/89035=8,9%

Only 2 cases in my county

If we shut everything down for a week we can easily get thru this with minimal casualties

But I also don’t want the govt to be able to shut the whole country down at will tho

I don’t know what or who to believe. The “bad” is flooding the timelines of social media and the “good” is being swept under the rug. I am no conspiracy theories but it’s super hard to take any of this s*** serious when there is so much “fear” being spread around the internet.

believe what your gut tells you. the overboard fear tactics and mind tricks everyone is being succumbed to (and playing on themselves) is ridiculous.
