I’m in the Bay Area and where these “shelter in place” policies are taking place rn, we just started at midnight. It’s basically lockdown. I think people will not take it as seriously as it is and will lead to a full lockdown. Other counties and states will follow suit to the Bay Area and enforce these shelter at home/lockdowns in the coming days

If you absolutely need things you should go either right at closing or right at opening, depending on when they stock. Food shortages are not and will not be an issue, it’s a lack of being prepared for this influx of demand and the overall panic.
This is going to be tough but trust that the government will find ways to correct this issue as far as rent/mortgages/reviving businesses once this is over. These are unprecedented times and there will be an unprecedented response with solutions. They are not going to let people drown.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see a total forgiveness of all bills/payments owed during this time. Somehow things will be accounted for.

Nah cuz I been through this before. My bill is technically due on last few days of the month, (29th-31st), if I don't pay it by the 11th of the next month they turn off my service. It's the 17th and it's still on. The month or two s*** like you said is when they completely suspend your account/phone number.

They won’t be suspending phones or internet or anything like that, trust me. Most have already reported grace periods for 60 days.
