    Potential new symptoms discovered:

    m.faz.net/aktuell/gesellschaft/gesundheit/coronavirus/virologe-hendrik-streeck-ueber-corona-neue-symptome-entdeckt-16681450.html

"Translation of the most relevant paragraphs of the interview:

Q: What were the new symptoms you discovered?

A: Almost all of the infected people we surveyed, so roundabout 2/3, described a loss of the sense of smell and taste for several days. A mother even reported that she was unable to smell her baby having full diapers, whereas others stopped smelling their shampoo and noticed that the taste of their food vanished.
We can't say when these symptoms occur, but we believe it's at a later stage of the infection.

Q: How many infected people did you survey?

A: At least 100, but not the most severe cases that are hospitalised.

Q: How would you describe a typical Covid-19-Patient?

A: The typical Covid-19-patient presents with only mild symptoms. This is also what a chinese Study from Shenzhen demonstrated. It showed that 91 % of the patients demonstrate only mild to moderate Symptoms, with a dry cough, and possibly fever. Our data showed a loss of smell and taste. Furthermore 30 % of the cases showed diarrhoea, that's a lot more common than previously thought."
