Viruses need very specific hosts to spread. A dog is not the same kind of a host as a human.
It begun in bats, but it did not spread and kill bats the same way it's spreading and killing humans. The virus found a host it can attack and spread in better and is expanding.
Nothing fishy about it. That's literally how viruses work.
The fishy thing is how it shifts into your respiratory system at 2nd stage (if it gets there) and you’re statistically 50% hospital bound at that point. The phlegm produced does strangely not come from your immune response, and if it starts you likely need breathing assistance.
What’s extremely fishy is how much it ravages the elderly compared to other viruses
